Matting & Erosion Control
Erosion control is the practice of preventing or controlling the flow of water on either a work-site or any type of landscape prevention request.
Erosion occurs when rain and moving water dislodge and carry soil particles and organic matter into waterways. This can cause numerous problems:
- Ruts and potholes can form, making an area hazardous and requiring constant maintenance.
- Valuable soil can be lost from your property when it is washed or blown away
- Bare and eroded areas can detract from a home’s appearance.
- Erosion along a home’s foundation can eventually undermine it.
- Mud from eroded areas can build up on driveways, sidewalks, gutter and cause serious problems by clogging drains and channels.
